sorry mate but i gotta tell you i'm out of calculations. in a little bit more than a week, in fact, in 10 days i'm gonna move to mexico for a year (exchange student). then i don't think, we'll see no more unless i come here to greet you guys. anyway i think i'm gonna stop being active anymore. it was nice discussing with you guys, i think i found something more within myself and could straighten my own (yet still a lil' bit blurred) ideologies a bit. i hope you keep on having great time here so that this wonderful and unique community wouldn't die away. read, think and discuss, that's the way to understanding.
anarchy is order. we'll hear from each other

Do you guys read any fiction on these things? If you do, I would like to highly recommend three books by Daniel Quinn. Ishmael- the classic green anarchist work. Ishmael is a gorilla who can not only talk to humans, but has deep insights into human culture and, according to him, its fast-approaching end. My Ishmael- Its sequel. Ishmael drives into a whole new range of ideas and concepts that he didn't mention in the other book. The Story of B- A Roman Catholic priest is sent to discover if a preacher with new ideas of religion and how to save the world is the Antichrist. He inflitrates the inner circle of the preacher (B) and becomes a convert.

It's a small world eh. I guess I should read the board before I write stuff. Anyway yes, let's read Ishmael. I ordered a copy from the library last month but when it arrived it was the sequel so I sent it back and now they know nothing, so I'll have to order it all again. The other book I'd like to recommend that everybody should read is 'The last hours of ancient sunlight' by Thom Hartmann. Especially if you'd like to see a real logical aspect to anti-civ/green anarchy. In fact CP should really read this book.

Excellent. I read Ishmael a while ago, and my copy is still in good condition. All we have to do is wait for August, then...
