Free Univesity Eduction
A resolution to improve worldwide human and civil rights.
Category: Human Rights
Strength: Significant
Proposed by: Carr Hall
Description: For too long now the education of students have depended too little on their ability to compleat the work required in a course. And far to much on their ability, and the ability of their parents to pay for that education.
we propose that:
1.) All tuition fees ond top-up fees are abolished.
2.) A system of regular payment as contribution to food and housing costs/rent,is set up via the creation of a new student benefit association (SBA.)
3.) Students recieve free public transport or contributions to feul costs for cars. (Recepts may be required.)
4.) the SBA (mentioned above). Will make out payments at the start of each term to contribute towards equipment, (Any required uniform, stationary, calculators, paper, books, and a laptop.) for each student. (Recepts may be required.)
5.) These costs will be paid for by vouluntary donations and a taxation on all companies with an anual turnover of over £1 million. or the equivalent in local currancy. and the changes will be mandatory on all UN members.
If the above changes are implimnted I feel confident that money will no longer be a factor in the development of the workforce of our countries.
Thanks for your time.
Approvals: 10 (Republic of Freedonia, Funkdunk, Gaiah, United democratic, Juna Esperantisto, Of Cascadia, Polioa, Stankistia, The Arn, Clint the mercyful)
