I tweaked it a little, changing the title to the present tense but mostly changing the phrase "I'm handicapped myself" which is offensive (it comes from the term "cap in hand" meaning to beg)

sorry i'm not english speaking and don't really understand "cap in hand"i know what begging is thought.
and i work with heavelly handicapted people for 10 years now and i'm still fighting against taboes...is it one of them?

No offence at all.

The phrase "cap in hand" comes from beggars holding out their hats for passers-by to give them coins. Buskers (street musicians) quite often still have a hat or cap on the ground while they play.

I think the word "disabled" is commonly used rather than "handicapped". However, rather than lump everyone who has any kind of disability into one big sack of implied less value, some people prefer specific reference, ie: Impaired mobility, impaired vision, wheelchair user, etc

handicapped care....gehandicapten zorg to be precise...and of course with all degrees in...my responsabilty in to take care of multiconplex handicaped people.or poly handicapped
