Go for it, I'm still all in favour of a new forum. How about promoting the region as a meeting place for 'left anarchists'? That's more inclusive than 'anarcho-communism' but I'm not sure it has the same zing to it...Oh who gives a fuck.

I can see good points in both arguments. The fact that "our" forum is suposedly the most active one is a good argument, i truly enjoy reading, and participating in the discussions here. And I think people from other regions would also do so. On the other hand, a new, common forum will presumably have more active members, and therfore more interesting discussions. The point that we would be faced with other types of anarchism which we do not agree with, is in my oppinion rather an argument for a new forum than against it. I see every oppurtunity to discuss with someone who does not agree with me as positive, as it broadens my horizon and sharpens my arguments. I also doubt that a new forum would spread the interesst of us currently posting here to the extent that our interesst would be lost. We do after all bother to post here already... I hope this made any sense Love and respect, Loe for Natures Revenge ;D

I'm not sure about the lost islands of the Punx. There are only three of them and two of these are dictatorships.

well this forum himself indicate that we can speak to each other without going to war.(good) the thing is if we have to argue other each others then, we have to keep in mind that nobody knows.this will make then possible to us to use critics in a constuctive way.and then not to get ourselves prisonner in our "truth".because for what i know we are all the same in our differences,so let's be creative here, may be we will come with new ideas that noone as never thougt before... yes for a new forum if it is a construtive and creative one.

What's the plan then? Is it that a new forum get's created so that all A-C-S-D etc members of NS can communicate in one space together, and this one remain seperate for tACA members? If that's the plan I think it's a good one. Firstly I think that an all-in board would be good for the positive reasons of communication with others as already stated, also I think that if you have something good, the best thing to do is to share it (and I've seen some good thoughts here). On the other side though, I don't believe if you have something good you should give it away, so that not only do you not enjoy it anymore, but neither will the people that didn't want it but were given it and so just trashed it. Also, whilst arguing/debating stuff with people with different ideas and beliefs can be enlightening, it can also be very time-consuming, boring and pointless.
Secondly, the main reason (other than the ones I gave above) for keeping this board as it is (as you say, anyone can join in from anywhere anyway), is because I like it. This is the best board I've seen so far. Don't make up reasons in your head for why other people haven't posted here, as 1) that is pointless & 2) there is always the word 'yet'.

Yo mates.
This is Tom from The Autonomous Zone. It appears the consensus here is that you want this forum to remain independent but the idea of a new forum for ALL NS anarchists is one which people generally like. In any case, that was my plan from the word 'go', so I've invited quite a few other anarchist and left-wing regions to see if they're interested. So far, the regions of The Realms of Knowledge, Sid Viscous, Eriataka, The Lost Islands of the Punx, the Svoltsvik Protectorate and a few other independant anarchists have expressed their interest. I've also contacted Anarchism, Anarchy and Socialism to see if they're interested. I imagine they shall be. Anyway, I came across a bit of problem... I haven't a clue how to go about creating a forum, so does anyone here have any ideas? Would anyone like to help create it?
Cheers Tom

Yeah I think I can give members administrative powers, any volunteers? I'll help out for the time being but at some point I'd like to hand back and go back to being a member.

I tried to sign up but could'nt for some reason. it looks cool! Do you have to sign up with a new login name, or can you use the one you use on this board?

For both the praguespring and nsanarchism boards you'll have to register again. You should be able to use the same name though.
It'd be nice if you could just register once and use them all, but as far as I know there's no way of doing that (if I'm wrong and someone knows a way to do it, could they please let me know?).
